Brittany Brush is an artist whose work flows from an awakening that transformed her life from the inside out. Through art, she encountered something far greater than ambition or material success—an intelligence moving through her, which she can only describe as God emerging from within.

 

Her work arises from direct experience with what many have called God, Source, or the divine — not as an external authority, but as an inner emergence expressing itself through the human form. Her practice is experiential, shaped by a lived awakening that dismantled her identity, reordered her life, and revealed creation itself as a participatory act between the human and the infinite. The work exists as evidence of what happens when intuition is followed to its breaking point and something greater is allowed to emerge.

 

Brittany's path into art has always been driven by an intense, intrinsic force of energy from within to create that could not be ignored. Brittany experienced art not as expression, but as transmission — a force moving through her rather than from her. What began as sculpture and physically making gradually became a mechanism of revelation, pulling subconscious material to the surface and exposing the fractures between who she had been conditioned to be and what was seeking to emerge. Her work became the place where illusion broke down and truth could no longer be avoided. In this way, Brittany’s awakening did not precede her artwork; it unfolded through it.

 

Brittany spent years of her life pursuing the prescribed pathways of the fine art world—following the steps that every mentor, guide and “expert” said to follow in order to be a successful artist. Apply to grad school, sell yourself to a gallery, fit yourself into the white box, do these steps and you’ll be the successful artist that you have always imagined yourself to be. So in 2017, she made a bold leap. She sold everything, all of her material possessions, and relocated her entire life, as well as her artistic practice to Berlin.

 

What followed was not artistic ascent, but collapse. This was a point on the journey where she realized that things weren’t going to work out the way she anticipated. She was waking up the reality of the fine art world, that most artists were barely able to exist, even the most successful ones. Many were fully dependent upon antiquated institutions for opportunity, success, and validation that their artwork was valuable. Immersed in institutional art culture, she had grown disgusted with the sterilized, emotionless, and artificial space that was fine art. She was realizing more and more each day that the future that she had created in her head, everything she had been so fiercely working for was a dead end. She had shed an entire life in the pursuit of a vision that seemed in her own mind destined to never materialize as a reality. 

Around this  time, she could not decouple the fine art world from her own art and made the decision to leave fine art completely. This realization & disillusionment marked the death of her former identity as an artist and initiated a profound existential and spiritual crisis. This resulted in her first  a dark night of the soul in which her reality collapsed entirely, driving her to the point of seriously considering taking her own life as the fabric of her reality was coming apart at the seams.

However, it was in this, her darkest moment: disoriented, lost, and feeling abandoned by any & all spiritual support, that an undeniable presence she recognized as God, emerged from the pain and emptiness. This transformative experience navigated her from the depths of a reality shattering existential crisis to a transformative spiritual awakening of epic proportions that breathed life and soul back into her both as a person and an artist.  

 

Brittany’s awakening was not gentle. It involved the stripping away of belief systems, the loss of professional certainty, the breakdown of false paradigms of success, and a complete reorientation of reality itself. The years that followed intensified this initiation. Global upheaval, the year that was 2020, the unraveling of collective narratives, unexpected motherhood, financial collapse, and the necessity of entrepreneurship forced Brittany into total reliance on intuition. In this terrain, intuition ceased to be spiritual luxury and became a survival instinct.

Brittany began receiving intuitive guidance not as abstract inspiration, but as precise, often inconvenient directives that required full trust. Her life reorganized itself accordingly: relocation, abandonment of institutional dependency, entrepreneurial risk, and the acceptance that no existing structure could hold the work she was being asked to create.

 

As she consciously committed herself to understanding and mastering her awakening, Brittany began receiving visions into the future of her artwork, her projects, and its future emergence into a world that was lost in its own collective illusions, propaganda, and deception. As awakening prompted the complete breakdown of her previous perceptions of reality, she learned to translate and trust these intuitive messages that were emerging from the chaos. These profound realizations flooded her awareness for many years as Brittany experienced an accelerated awakening of her consciousness and the activation of her psychic centers. She became aware through her own artistic practice that she was discovering her true self and God emerging through her artwork. This intense, transformative and at times disorienting experience was a radical breaking open of the illusion of the three dimensional world and a portal opening her into the spiritual dimension of life. 

 

These peak spiritual experiences were precursors into the initiation process that led her into deeper layers of her spiritual awakening. As months of transformation turned into years, the universe stripped away every foundation of her life. She experienced a radical unearthing all of her beliefs, ideas and preconceived notions about herself, the world, reality, and how the universe worked that now needed to be re-sorted to be in alignment with this emerging Self. 

 

As her current reality was completely dismantled, Brittany could not deny that through the chaos, there was an intelligent force of energy working in her life to bring about profound changes for her benefit. These experiences initiated a journey of deep self-discovery, reflection, research, and experimentation in her artwork to better understand what was taking place within her inner world. It became clear through her research and experiences that there was a universal process revealing itself to her, unfolding from within—becoming more accelerated based on her willingness to participate with the energy presenting itself through all the facets of her life. 

 

The universe then began a process of rewiring and upgrading her consciousness, advancing her true understanding of reality. Her programming and conditioning began to dissolve in the presence of this authentic self that had been concealed beneath false paradigms and projections of the outside world. Downloads of realization about reality, life, and the external world, began pouring into her awareness through a process of internal gnosis. This intensely beautiful process brought her back to rediscover her true inner being so that she could share her experience with other seekers navigating their own awakening journey back to Self.

 

Today, Brittany Brush’s work exists at the intersection of art, awakening, and existential truth. Brittany’s work is a reflection of a universal process: the emergence of the God, Source, intelligence, the divine — through the human when illusions and false identities dissolve. 

Her creations function as energetic artifacts — not explanations, but invitations. They ask the viewer to confront illusion, identity, and conditioning, while gesturing toward a deeper intelligence moving beneath surface reality. Her work resists categorization because it resists performance. It is not decorative, ideological, or didactic. It is experiential.

 

Her art does not instruct or explain awakening — it mirrors it. Each piece functions as a threshold, inviting viewers to recognize the same intelligence moving through themselves and their own lives.
